“Do you know that ‘if’ is the middle word in life?

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you”…

If we actually have the technology to travel to and colonize our interplanetary neighbors and exist in other unfriendly human environments, why are we so worried about ‘Global Climate Change’?

Why are we not terraforming and developing our deserts and any other hostile environments as they appear on earth, and thus enhance human survival?

Why is it we are the only species that is so suicidal and apocalypse prone?

Why is “Save the Humans” not in this equation? Is it because we can’t or we won’t, unless some of us meet a certain criteria, philosophical, ideological, or otherwise?

If humans as a whole are supposed to be such an intelligent species, why are we so fragile and falling so far behind? Or maybe, it is just, that for all practical purposes, it is only selective human beings that warrant such special consideration? Or could it be “planned obsolescence” at play?

Never mind, ancient and modern human history speaks volumes on this subject.  And besides, when the collective finally does consume itself, those left, then becomes parasites.

Of interest may be the documentary The Century of the Self.

It may also be viewed on any of the Skinnerian boxes filled with Pavlovian social programming.
