‘I’ve seen America, it’s lousy’: Duterte vows never to visit US

Still, people are dying to get to America.

“I’ve seen America and it’s lousy”  –Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte

Yet to escape the corrupt, despotic, and oppressive conditions that lead to Third World poverty, millions of foreigners, including Filipinos, migrate or attempt to sneak into America annually.

For example:

SAN ANTONIO (AP) – Authorities called to a Walmart parking lot found eight people dead and 20 others in dire condition in the back of a sweltering tractor-trailer, victims of what police said Sunday was an immigrant-smuggling operation gone wrong…  The Border Patrol has reported at least four truck seizures this month in and around Laredo, Texas. On July 7, agents found 72 people crammed into a truck with no means of escape, the agency said.

So, tell us again, why is might that be?

The Philippines’ strongman states that nothing can stop his drug crackdown, and human rights abuses, including a trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) or impeachment. The anti-drug campaign had resulted in more than 7,000 deaths as of March 2017, according to Human Rights Watch. (But what impact has that really had on the Philippines’ Narco-industrial Complex?)
